Librera Reader PRO is a highly configurable reading app that supports a wide range of popular formats, including PDF, EPUB/EPUB3, MOBI, DjVu, FB2 (and FB2.zip), DOC/DOCX, TXT, RTF, AZW/AZW3, CBR/CBZ, HTML, XPS, MHT, and more. It combines a clean interface with advanced tools that help you build a library, read comfortably, and customize how every document behaves.

Smooth Reading Experience (Including Hands-Free Modes)

Librera focuses on comfort and control. It includes RSVP reading (Spritz-style rapid reading) and a unique Musician’s mode that enables hands-free auto-scrolling at a pace you can configure. You can also use read-aloud (TTS) with the text-to-speech engine you prefer, and you can fine-tune reading rules for better pronunciation and pacing.

Smart Library and Document Discovery

Librera makes it easy to collect and manage books and documents without constant manual sorting. You can:

• auto-scan folders you choose
• browse storage with an in-app file explorer (catalogs, disks, folders)
• access Recent and Favorites lists, including a progress indicator and quick commands

You can create a self-maintaining library by defining which formats the app should include and which folders it should scan.

Bookmarks, Annotations, and PDF Tools

Librera supports both fixed and movable bookmarks, plus annotations for study and reference. In PDFs, it supports text reflow and annotations, helping you read dense pages more comfortably on smaller screens.

Day/Night Profiles and Fine Visual Control

You can configure Day and Night modes independently and adjust the reading environment to match lighting conditions. Librera also supports:

• zoom behavior such as auto-centering and manual centering of zoomed pages

Librera integrates with popular online translators and supports major offline dictionaries, making it useful for language learning and technical reading. You can translate, copy, share, or search excerpts (or entire pages) on the internet. The app can also read aloud content shared from other apps through installed TTS engines.

Powerful Search Across Files

You can search within a document quickly, and you can also run word search across multiple documents, including multi-word search. This helps when you use Librera for manuals, research PDFs, study notes, or large ebook collections.

Format Conversion, Archives, and Right-to-Left Languages

Librera supports online format conversion and can open archived books (.zip). It also supports right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian/Farsi, which improves layout and readability for RTL scripts.

Sync Progress Across Devices

Librera can sync your reading progress and app setup across multiple devices, so you can continue from the last page and keep consistent preferences everywhere. It can also open to your last-read page on app launch.

OPDS Catalogs and Built-In Downloading

You can connect to OPDS online catalogs to search for books and download them directly, which helps you expand your library without leaving the app.

Custom CSS, Tags, and Organization Options

Librera supports custom CSS for better typography and layout control (especially helpful for EPUB/HTML-based content). You can also create custom tags, group books by those tags, and filter/sort your library by path, name, size, date, and other criteria. Thumbnail covers and detailed descriptions help you identify documents quickly.
